I’ve been a professional photographer for about ten years, I make videos about it every week, and I have too many opinions.

RECENT WORK

I think that's why I started a Youtube channel. Portfolio, presets, and one-on-one calls are all here. Consider this to be the one stop shop for all things Walter Lyle. Now put your phone down and go shoot.

Feeling good and not tired or stressed about all the things everyone needs from me at all times of the day !!! Photo taken by my 3 year old can you tell
I've been using the Fujifilm XT5 a little more for personal shooting. Pairs wonderfully with the old, janky, terribly slow, terribly beautiful Fujifilm 35mm 1.4. You also can't go wrong with a @cleversupplyco leather strap on any Fuji.

Alex and Emma on Kodak Gold 200. Every time I think I’ve nailed a filmic edit on digital, I shoot film and am reminded that nothing will ever get all the way there in comparison.
Leica Q3 43 review is live on the YouTube channel. I took all these photos with said Leica, except for the very last one, where my friend Cody used the Leica to take a photo of me doing my best impression of an old man at a restaurant. I did not lo
Brett and Emma. Rain caught us at the end of our time hanging out together but we thrived in it. See y’all again next year. For photographers: all photos shot on the Fujifilm XH2 and the Super Takumar SMC 50mm 1.4 on a speedbooster.
It is very hot outside, meaning that a lot of my personal family documentation has been inside. Considering opening up a few days for in-home family sessions for anyone who might want such a thing. Professional photos done casually. No need to dress
CLOSED, WINNER SELECTED: Congrats to Ana in Florida for sharing her story and winning the giveaway! And thank you to everyone who submitted their stories as well. That’s right, I bought another camera I don’t need but this time I’
Kinda chic to disappear from Instagram for a few weeks even though I never stop shooting. Am I doing this right
